Award seats can only be checked through your logged-in Cathay session, so “Find flights” needs the companion script to bring seats back automatically.

1. 1. Install Tampermonkey

   Install the Tampermonkey extension (Chrome / Edge / Firefox).
2. 2. Install the search script

   Install this tool’s “Cathay Award Search” .user.js (drag in or click install).
3. 3. Sign in to Cathay

   Sign in to cathaypacific.com with your membership (seats are queried under your login).
4. 4. Come back and click “Find flights”

   The script searches that leg and brings the seats back; the card shows F/J/Y availability.

You can still plan routes and estimate miles without it — only auto seat import needs it.
